Shear Structure!

Ok ladies! I officially have our first salon scheduled for our Spa September event.....and they are donating a TON of different services (hair, nail, massage, make-up, etc). Shear Structure is SO EXCITED to be a part of this event and has also agreed to donate the "complete make-over" for AT LEAST one lucky momma! (Complete Makeover will include: shampoo, cut, color, style, makeup, eye brow waxing)!! I can't wait!

Any momma's out there with a small business is welcome to come and set up a table to display their product/services as well! Just contact me and let me know so I can start making a list and get enough tables for everyone to set-up at.

I am currently looking for some college-age students to donate childcare (if possible)!! If you know of anyone that might be interested, would you send them my way? Possibly some education majors looking to get some teaching hours in for a project?

SPA SEPTEMBER

I've been working hard on putting together a FREE SPA DAY for all Mom's of Morristown! The event will be sponsored by Morristown Moms Group and First United Methodist Church.

If you know of any local businesses that would be interested in donating a Spa Service, food, drinks, entertainment, etc please have them contact me! Momma's with Independent Businesses are invited to come and set up a table to showcase your products as well. I am looking for local college students that might be interested in donating 2 hours of childcare for this event so that momma's can enjoy their spa days ;)

Services we are looking for include (but are not limited to):

Hair consultations

Bang trims

sample products

Polish nails

quick manicure

paraffin wax treatments

massages

eye brow wax

facial consults

skin care

nutrition

childcare services (for the event)

food & beverages

entertainment (local area band?)

Summer Events 2013

As a new resident to Morristown, I found myself scrambling to find things for my children to do last summer! It seemed like a lot of events were "word-of-mouth" and not advertised very well (unless you knew where to look). I guess word spreads quickly in small towns.... but, they tend to forget the new-kids-in-town!

This year, I wanted to write everything down so I could refer back to them and start planning out our summer. I also wanted to find a way to share this list of events with EVERY PARENT IN MORRISTOWN! So, if you are reading this now, find a way to send it to all the moms you know!! If you know of any events I could add to our summer events and activities, please feel free to contact me and I'll add it! Let's help our kids have a great summer (and keep mom a little sane).
